Keeper of Secrets

The wind is a maiden with pale skin and white tresses that trail behind her gracefully.
She has unfathomable, bewitching eyes made of pure star.
She is keeper of secrets
So sly, conniving, and stealthy
As she runs with her lily feet into the Forest of Dark
Bearing secrets on her cursed lips
Words unspoken,
Yet betraying eyes that tell all.
There is truth buried in secret.
Like a siren, she sings a pitiful, sorrowing song
Serenading the moon on such forlornly nights
Holding a tiny silver key, weighing more than a ton
That rests on her neck, keeping all the secrets safe
Until her sister Guilt relieves her burden.
